Parade Emcee Ken Carr

Ken Carr started his media career as a radio personality in 1987 in Kearney, Nebraska. His career has included radio announcing on-air and programming, producing TV, and social media.

Ken moved to Tucson in 2001 and has been an on-air personality at KRQ, 104.1

The Point, Mega 106.3, and since August 2019, is currently the midday personality

on The Drive Tucson – 101.7 FM and AM 830.

​

Ken’s TV experience includes producing news on KMSB Fox 11, and was the

Executive Producer of The Morning Blend TV show on ABC affiliate KGUN 9 from

2012-2018.

​

Ken also owns and produces Whats Up Tucson, a Tucson-focused social media

stream publishing local info, events, news, and emergency incidents on X (Twitter),

Instagram, Facebook, and Threads, with a combined total of 200,000 followers.

Ken is also the only Tucson radio personality with his face on his shoes. Keep an eye out for them!
